Embedded in this last legislative update by the Alaska Conservation Alliance is the success of the passage of House Bill 152: To Establish a Renewable Energy Fund. This bill passed with strong bipartisan support and $250 million for renewable energy projects in the state of Alaska. Each year for five years the state will have $50 million to grant efforts like SEAK Solutions across the state of Alaska.
